Lucifer - Son of the Morning

In this part of the study we are going to take a look at what Satan was up to in the first earth age and what caused God to end that age. Satan who was called Lucifer back then was a good guy and had great responsibilities given to him by God. But one day that all would change.

These accounts in Isaiah and Ezekiel describe Lucifer before, during and after his expulsion from God's holy heaven.

Isaiah 14:12-17 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

What "nations" or peoples did Lucifer "weaken" or “make prostrate” (probably a reference to making the people worship him)? Could it be as Isaiah says that before Lucifer was kicked out of heaven that he had already brought down large people groups in a previous age (more on this)?

Who was Lucifer before he turned evil?

The name 'Lucifer' is Strong's #1966 and means heylel (hay-lale'); from Strong's #1984 (in the sense of brightness); and means "light-bearer" or ; The one who Halal's.

Halal Strong's number 1984 is a primitive root; to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify.

The word "Hallelujah" comes from this same word!

Lucifer was the "son of the dawn" and the “bearer of the glory and praise of God" yet wanted more.

Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

In this verse Lucifer is really getting full of pride. He wants to sit in the Divine assembly of judgment which in Psalms 82:1 we read that is God's job.

Psalms 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; He judgeth among the gods.

Lucifer also wants to sit "in the sides of the north." The problem with that is, that is where God's throne is.

Psalms 75:6-7 For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the MOST HIGH.

The words "MOST HIGH" is Strong's #5945 and means 'elyown (el-yone'); from Strong's #5927; an elevation, i.e. (adj.) lofty (compar.); as title, the Supreme. In Hebrew theology this word is exclusively used to refer to God.

That is one of the Divine names of God and refers to God as possessor of heaven and earth. Lucifer was so full of pride that he wanted to be God. Gee, I wonder what God thought of that.

Isaiah 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

This happens at the beginning of what most call the "millennia" when Satan was cast into the bottomless pit for the thousands of years.

Revelation 20:2-3 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand(s) years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Isaiah 14:16-17 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, 'Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?'

Because of his disobedience the Earth was destroyed the first time. The fall from heaven that Isaiah is talking about happened in the first earth age.

Genesis 1:2, "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."

To understand the meaning of this verse all we have to do is look at another scripture that contains the same exact words. A "second witness".

Jeremiah 4:23-27, "I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end."

This Jeremiah scripture parallels the Isaiah 14:16-17 scripture and depicts the same events attributed to Lucifer's rebellion against God and God's response to it. (For more about this)

Lets go to Ezekiel 28 and read more about Satan's rebellion. Ezekiel 28:1-10 are after Satan's fall and verses 11-19 are about before his fall.

Ezekiel 28:1-19 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a GOD, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not GOD, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

The word "Tyrus" is Strong's #6865 and means Tsor (tsore); or Tsowr (tsore); the same as Strong's #6864; a rock; Tsor, a place in Palestine.

Some may say that this is not talking about Satan at all but as we cover these verses you will see that it can be only him. Satan's heart was full of pride and he thought he was better than God. "Seas" as it is used here is symbolic of people. Satan is the false rock while Christ is our true Rock.

Ezekiel 28:3 Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

If you read the book of Daniel you will find that he was a very wise man. But Satan is even wiser. Satan knows the word of God very well, he just changes it around to suite his needs. He used God's word against Eve and he used it to test Christ.

Ezekiel 28:4-5 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

The word "traffick" is Strong's #7404 and means rekullah (rek-ool-law'); from Strong's #7402; trade (as peddled).

Satan has used his great wisdom to get riches by lying and deceiving people. Satan with the help of his friends here on earth, rip people off everyday. If the wealth of the wicked is stored up for the just, than the wicked are rich. Satan's heart is lifted up because of his riches but what is that going to get him in the end? A one way ticket to burn in the lake of fire.

Ezekiel 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

Satan who is an unjust liar among other things wanted to be God. Thank God, Who is just and does not lie, didn't let it happen. There is only one true God and that's the way it will always be.

Ezekiel 28:7-8 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

The word "brightness" is Strong's #3314 and means yiph` ah (yif-aw'); from Strong's # 3313; splendor or (figuratively) beauty: - brightness.

For those that think these verses are not talking about Satan, yiph' ah is only used twice. Here and in Ezekiel 28 verse 17 where when read with the verses before it, it is very clear that it is talking about Satan.

The swords talked about here is the word of God. People will start to tell the truth about Satan and what his plans are which in turn will wound his brightness.

Ezekiel 28:9-10 Wilt thou yet say before Him That slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no GOD, in the hand of Him that slayeth thee. Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

The 'Him' in verse nine is referring to Christ. Christ will end Satan's reign of unrighteousness when He returns at the second advent. Satan thinks that he is so big and bad but he is no match for Jesus Christ. Satan in due time will be killed and all that follow him will be killed also.

II Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with
the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Revelation
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Ezekiel 28:11-12 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

Remember that the word "Tyrus" means rock. Satan is the false rock, while Christ is the true Rock. Lucifer before he rebelled against God was perfect. He was very wise and beautiful.

Ezekiel 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

This tells us that Satan was in the garden of Eden in this earth age. This also goes on to tell us that Lucifer was very blessed in the first earth age. At one time, God was very pleased with him and gave him great responsibilities. God created Lucifer, he was not born of woman. Lucifer, who had his name changed to Satan by God, is a supernatural being. He has more powers than we do but even Satan had to ask God's permission to do something. Read the first two chapters of Job.

Ezekiel 28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Lucifer's job in the first earth age was to protect the very throne of God in heaven. Stones of fire is God's altar.

Ezekiel 28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

Lucifer was perfect in God's eyes until evil was found in him.

Ezekiel 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

Lucifer with his lies and deception received unjust gain and sinned. This happened in the first earth age and at that time a third of God's angels followed after Lucifer.

Revelation 12:3-4 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Ezekiel 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Lucifer thought he was so good he wanted to be God. He became full of pride and would not change his ways, so God had to cast him out of heaven. These are the events that brought the first earth age to an end.

Ezekiel 28:18-19 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Here Lucifer is sentenced to death by God Himself. So now we have a better understanding of who Satan is and what his job use to be. Because of Satan's rebellion and the fact that a third of God's angels followed him, God ended the First Earth Age and started the second one. This is the one we are living in now.

One of the biggest mistakes made by Christians today is to believe that Satan is a defeated foe and can not hurt them. The truth is he is a convicted foe and temporarily imprisoned. No different than a Mafia Don that stills runs his crime organization from his prison. And if he gets out he will still be the "Big Boss". The Bible assures us that Satan will in deed "get out" of his prison and will be even more destructive and deadly than before. He is not the "TOOTHLESS FAIRY" many preachers describe him as. Only Christ is able to destroy him in time. " Matt. 24:22 "...there should no flesh be saved ".

In the book of Revelation Satan's new or true name is revealed.

Revelation 9:11, "And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon." (Strong's #623)

623 Apolluon {ap-ol-loo'-ohn} active participle of #622

Apollyon = "Destroyer" 1) the angel of the bottomless pit, the Destroyer

Satan is coming back. He is mad as hell and he hates you. Are You Ready?

Who is Satan the destroyer?

Satan kicked out of heaven and bound to Earth

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! [how] art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Here, in Isaiah, we are shone a fallen angel, the devil or the dragon that we know from the other scriptures as Satan. He is the enemy of God from before the creation of man. Isaiah tells about it but Jesus was there to see it. Satan is cast out of heaven and bound to the earth and takes up his role in darkness.

Luke 10:18-20 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Satan in the Earth as a vessel of wrath under the constraints of God

Genesis 3:14-15 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite [you].

Jeremiah 19:15 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.

1 Samuel 16:23 And it came to pass, when the [evil] spirit from God was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the evil spirit departed from him.

Luke 22:3 Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

John 13:26-27 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped [it]. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave [it] to Judas Iscariot, [the son] of Simon. And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

God created evil for his own purpose

Colossians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Satan bound in the pit (prophecy)

Isaiah 14:15-16 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, [and] consider thee, [saying, Is] this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 16:10-11 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

In these scriptures Christ is clearly not speaking of himself. Christ is describing the conviction and casting down to the pit of Satan.

Other scriptures that call Satan the prince of this world and his being bound in the pit.

Ephesians 2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Colossians 2:14-15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; [And] having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

Revelation 20:2-3 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand(s)  years And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand(s)  years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only [he who] now letteth [will let], until [he be] taken out of the way.

Words in brackets do not appear in the original Greek text but were added by the King James translators. This verse should read:

2 Thessalonians 2:7 "For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only now letteth [#2722 5723 - is being held back], until taken out of the way.

This is referring to Satan being bound in the pit- not the presence of the Church or the Holy Spirit. If that were true where is the second witness? What is presently holding Satan back is described in scripture as a great chain.
2722 katecho {kat-ekh'-o} AV - hold 3, hold fast 3, keep 2, possess 2, Misc 9, 19

1.to hold back, detain, retain
5723 Tense - Present

Jesus takes a spoil. Jesus has the keys of death and hell, which he acquired while he was in hell after Satan is bound.

Matthew 12:29, "Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house."

Mark
3:27, "No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house."

Luke 11:21-54, "When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

Colossians
2:15, "And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it."

Revelation
1:18, "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death."

Satan loosed from the pit

Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Satan was loose, now he is exiled to the pit and then he is loosed for a little season. At the time this is written Satan is not around.

Christ gives the key of hell (bottomless pit) to an angel and Satan is set loose.

Revelation 9:1-2 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, [which is] the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue [is] Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath [his] name Apollyon. (The Destroyer)

Wound to Satan’s head

Genesis 3:1415 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou [art] cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Her seed, meaning Christ shall bruise the head of the serpent, which is Satan.

Revelation 13:2-3 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as [the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Satan takes up the authority and power he had before the cross, but without God’s restraint

Revelation 13:7-8 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Son of Perdition-Man of Sin

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition<684>;

Other uses of word <684>

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Ro 9:22 [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction<684>: {fitted: or, made up}

684 apoleia {ap-o'-li-a} from a presumed derivative of 622

AV - perdition 8, destruction 5, waste 2, damnable 1, to die + 1519 1,
perish + 1498 + 1519 1, pernicious 1; 20
1) destroying, utter destruction
1a) of vessels
2) a perishing, ruin, destruction
2a) of money
2b) the destruction which consists of eternal misery in hell

In one night Satan kills the firstborn of Egypt all by himself. He is the embodiment of destruction, he is the Destroyer.

Exodus 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite [you].

The "MAN OF SIN" is the son of Satan the Destroyer himself.

Son of perdition (referred to by many as the Antichrist)

Revelation 13:11-13 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

Satan must be present for the Son of Perdition to have this power

Revelation 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-9 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

Just as Christ's power was not his own and only operated in the sight of the Father, so is the Son of Perdition dependant on Satan.

John 5:30, "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."

John 5:19, "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."

John 12:49, "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak."

John 14:10, "Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works."

Christ earned the right to destroy Satan, but Satan is not destroyed yet.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The Deceiver of the Nations

Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand(s)  years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Revelation 20:7-8 And when the thousand(s)  years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.

Satan when he was still called Lucifer became the "deceiver of nations" earning a new name "Satan the Destroyer"and as Satan he was and will be again the deceiver of nations and the destroyer. "was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit"

The word "thousand" in these scriptures is the plural form and means "thousands". All of them refer to the period of time immediately following Satan being bound in the pit and ending with the second coming of Christ. If then the scriptures are correct, and I believe they are, we are in that time. The Bible describes explicitly that the first resurrection took place at Christ's ascension. Those of the first resurrection are presently ruling and reigning with Christ. After Christ's return there will be another resurrection. This resurrection includes all the rest of the dead, and than the judgment.

Matthew 27:52-53, "And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many."

1 Corinthians 15:23, "But every man in his own order: Christ[,] the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming."

Revelation 20:5, "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand(s)  years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection."

1 Corinthians 15:20, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept."

Revelation 14:4, "These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb."
